Strawberries & Cream Soap

By Summers Past Farms | July 1, 2006

We just made one of our favorite summer soap, “Strawberries & Cream”. We added red dye to half the batch, the other half we left white and swirrled the two together. We finished it off with some poppy seeds and the soap looks great!

I recently picked up some of this Strawberries and Cream soap, and it smells WONDERFUL! It’s still in the wrapper, sitting in front of my computer so I can pick it up and smell it occassionally! LOL!! I’m heading out to the farm in just a few minutes to pick up some coconut and palm kernal oil so I can get a batch of soap going myself. What a great place you folks have!!

Sheryl and Marshall, Thanks for your generosity in sharing your secrets and tips. It makes my soap business so much more enjoyable…and less work. Your classes are a MUST as a refresher course for anyone NOT new to soapmaking. Here in the Philadelphia area – cold process soaps seem to be a rarity – so I’m hoping that “Two Sisters Handmade Herbal Soaps, can intoduce these folks to a new way of
getting back to basics – the natural way to care for skin.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Sheryl-

That strawberry soaprecipe IS MAH-VEL-OUS…My first batch is “resting” and I know it will be a sure-fire winner with my new clients.

    Thanks again!
